WATFORD GUIDE ADVOCATE April 25. 1952 JOHN MAW [excerpt] John Maw, 87 almost a lifetime resident of Wyoming community, died in Watford Thursday of last week after a lengthy illness. He was born in York county but came with his parents to Plympton when six years of age. He married Bertha Annett of Brooke, who survives him. The funeral was held from. McKay and White funeral home, Wyoming, on Saturday afternoon with interment in Wyoming cemetery. Pallbearers were Alvin and Roy Williams, Ralph Annett, Clayton King, Ernest Dolbear and Alvin Maw. (Add on from the Petrolia Paper: John's parents were John Maw and Rachel Rogers. He is the last of a family of seven children.
