(Research):A John Martin was born in Harescombe, gloucestershire, chr. 22 apr 1789 (Batch No. C028961) which would fit easily with Ann born in 1793. As Harescombe is only 2 miles from Painswick If he was born in Warehorne then perhaps he met Ann and married her on his travels as a soldier

A William Martin (b. Abt 1781 of Warehorne) married a Susannah Mills 1 Nov 1806

Also a John Martin was b. Warehorne 15 May 1785 to an Edward Martin and Elizabeth IGI Batch No. 5007995
