John Marshall
- John Marshall immigrated 23rd day 6th month 1686 to Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; aboard the ship "Desire", James Cock Master, as the servant of Francis Rawle. He married Sarah Smith on 19 April 1688 at Quaker Monthly Meeting, Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. John Marshall left a will on 8 September 1729 at Darby, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
- To wife Sarah 110 acres of land in Blockley Township, Philadelphia Co. and all personal estate except legacies. To eldest son John 5 shillings and to his children, viz Thomas, Abraham, Sarah, Margaret and Joanna 1 shillings each. To children of son Thomas, viz Ann, Benjamin and Thomas 1 shillings each. Executrix: wife Sarah. Witnesses: Samuel Seller, Edward Ease, Saml. Bunting, son Thomas and cousin Abraham Marshall, overseers.
- He died on 13 September 1729 at Chester County, Pennsylvania, at age 68. His estate was proved on 1 December 1729.
