- ↑ John was Tec 5. while in the Army. When he enlisted he resided at 548 S. Duke Street, York, PA. He was inducted into the Army at Fort Meade Maryland. He served in Northern France And Central Europe. Was awarded The Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern World War 2 Victory Medal, Campaihn Medal with 2 Bronz Stars. Army Serial # 33-875-381.
He workrd for Diamond Silver Co. , Lambertville N,J, from 1936 to 1943, when he then went into the army. when he was discharged he went back to work for this same company until he retired.
