Records of John Littlepage in Augusta County, VA

- Vol. 1 - COUNTY COURT. ORIGINAL PETITIONS AND ORDERS. - Bundle marked "Old papers not belonging to the office--Old patents, deeds, etc." - 24th September, 1793.--Between Nathaniel Wilkinson, John Carter Littlepage and John Oliver, of first part, and John Hanger, of second part. Parties of first have sold to second (consideration, £10) one ticket, No. 52, for a lot of half an acre in the town of Hot Bath, established by an Act of Assembly at the Hot Springs, in Bath County. Drawing took place, 14th July, last, and John Hanger drew lot 38. Test: James William Mathews, Charles Tyler, Elijah Tenny, Benjamin Dickenson, Simon Gillespey.
- Vol. 2 - Thomas Madison vs. Carter Littlepage of Hanover--O. S. 42; N. S. 14 --Bill filed 14th May, 1795. Thomas was member of the Assembly in 1793. Alexander St. Clair was member of the Senate.
- Vol. 2 - CIRCUIT COURT CAUSES ENDED. - John Carter Littlepage vs. John Oliver's Admrs.--O. S. 169--N. S. 59. Involves transactions at Hot Springs. Jno. Oliver died 1799, leaving wife but no issue. William Oliver, a brother, a sister (wife of Thomas Oliver) and another brother, decd.
- Vol. 2 - EXECUTIONS. - SEPTEMBER, 1801 (A to R). - Oliver's administrator vs. John Carter Littlepage and Richard Snead-- Bath County.
- Vol. 1 - COUNTY COURT CHANCERY DECREES DECIDED. - 1823, 1824, 1825 (I to N). - John E. McClanahan vs. John Carter Littlepage, Nathaniel Wilkinson, John Oliver.--Involves a lot in town to be laid off at Hot Springs.
