[Note: this series of deeds, combined with the mention in the father's will of land in Pownalborough is presented to refute claims by Source:Thwing, Annie Haven. Inhabitants and Estates of the Town of Boston, 1630-1800, and the Crooked and Narrow Streets of Boston, 1630-1822 that it was John of Pownalborough who married Mary Walley. That was the son of Nathaniel, who is called John Langdon Esq, with wife Mary, in several deeds in combination with his mother Abigail, while John Langdon of Pownalborough is consistently a merchant and the deeds suggest by owning adjacent property, is related to Mary, widow of John Langdon.]
