A couple of weekends ago Keitha and I visited the Buena Chapel cemetery where your grandparents and Mary Alice Klein are buried. First time we had been there. Do you know how they happened to be buried there? Did they go to church there? Seems like quite a trip from Thomas to go to church, although the church selection in Thomas and Davis is not all that good. I hope all is well with you, and if you find yourself in the Elkins area anytime this Summer, give us a call. We have not seen any of your family in Thomas for sometime now. Guess we should call them and try to get together. Larry Wing I will tell you approximately where the John and Anderson Lambert cemeteries are, but I think the best thing would be for you to contact me when you planned to be in this area and I will be glad to take you there. To get there you turn off Rt. 33 onto Rt. 28 to Circleville. You go through Circleville almost to Cherry Grove. Turn left on Snowy Mt. Rd. I didn't pay too close attention, but it seems about a mile down that road it makes a sharp turn to the left and in that curve there is another road that goes straight ahead. I neglected to notice the name. There might not have even been a sign. Down that road about a mile as I remember it, there is a little house on the right. The cemetery is on the property of this house and about a half mile off the road. This house is actually owned by the people at the next house down the road on the right, and again I neglected to get their name. I suppose if I went there again I would let them know we were there before going back to the cemeteries. I think they have to grant you access, but I guess it would be the courteous thing to do to let them know we were there. The house where the cemeteries are is occupied by Otis Seaman, who is 95 yrs. old. We had a little trouble finding the cemeteries and he finally got us pointed in the right direction and finally even took Emmett there in his truck. So the road to the cemetery is passable with a 4 wheel drive. References
