- ↑ RJ, 1:3 "SHERWOOD VALLEY MAN SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK - John ThomasKrumm, 63, a workman on the Willow Brook Ranch in Sherwood Valley, diedof a heart attack Monday afternoon. He made his home with the CarlRennicks, who have charge of the ranch. Mrs Rennick reported to CoronerBeverly Broaddus that he ate sparingly at lunch Monday and went downafter lunch to the corral where he had a mare and colt. A little latershe saw him sitting down in the shade of a tree and went to his aid asit was an unusual occurrrence to see him seated during working hours. Herefused to allow her to call the doctor and she gave him first aid. Whenhe did not respond to treatment Dr. George Barcklow was called but deatharrived before the doctor. Mrs. Rennnick said that Mr. Krumm told her hehad been subject to such attacks for some time. A sister, FlorenceKrumm, lives at Renton, Washington."
