It is not clear exactly where in Pennsylvania John Krey lived, and he might have moved around, although always within what was then Philadelphia County. His will was written in Philadelphia County (p. 146).
p. 144: John Krey and Helena Krey were on a list of (apparently founding) members for the church in Germantown, founded in 1708. (Note that they could have been members of this church while living in another place, as this was the first Mennonite church in Pennsylvania.)
p. 145: In 1702, John Krey settled in Bebber's (now Skippack) Twp., Montgomery Co., Pa. On 24 Aug 1714, he bought 400 acres of land in Manatawny (which appears to be in current-day Berks County) and supposedly settled there (although his wife's second husband settled in Skippack Township and married Sytche, suggesting that the Krey's might have remained there rather than moving to Manatawny). Both Skippack Township and Manatawny were part of Philadelphia County at the time.
