King, John, entered service Virginia; pensioned 1806 in Pennsylvania for disability from wound at Battle of Guilford; resided 1830 in Bracken County, Kentucky; died there 4/8/1837 when occupation minister; married 4/27/1786 Catherine/Caty (widow of Philemon Hawkins), Fayette County, Kentucky; widow daughter of Lewis Craig who moved to Kentucky in Fall of 1781 & resided Fayette County, Kentucky for many years; widow applied for pension age 79, Bracken County, Kentucky in 1838; pension application rejected, insufficient proof of 6 months service; children's births: Philip 2/13/1787 (War of 1812 soldier, resided 1839 Augusta, Bracken County, Kentucky), John 9/15/1790, Elizabeth 3/5/1793, Mary 6/5/1796, William 1/26/1798, Anne 8/2/1800 & Lucinda 1/15/1802; widow's brother Major Leeis Craig (b.
