John L. "Larry" Kibler

John L. "Larry" Kibler, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, March 2, 2004, at the age of 75, with his daughters at his side, following an ex tended illness.

Larry lived in the Akron-Canton area all his life. He was a mem ber of St. Theresa Catholic Church. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber in 1991 with 35 years of serv ice. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret L., and granddaughter, Colleen M. Kibler, he is survived by daughters, Pamela (Michael) Edwards of Union town, Paula (Dean) Thompson of North Canton, Patricia (Harland) Moidel of West Grove, Pa.; his son, Peter (Monica) of Kingwood, Texas; grandchildren, Shane and Peter Edwards, Ed ward and Michael Segovis, Holly Moidel, and Joshua and Jordan Thompson; loving sister, Louise Khoury; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Josephine Livers, Rita and Bud Livers, and Dale Pendleton; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends. A very special goodbye to Albert S., John C., Lou B., Bud V., Les P., and Jim K.

Dad loved to travel, Houston and Las Vegas being two of his favorite destinations. He was a proud father, a good friend, a great provider, and much more; but to his children, he was our dad, and will be greatly missed.

The family wishes to thank everyone at the Laurels of Massillon for caring for our dad like he was their own.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 811 Grant St. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 12 noon at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Brewster. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry's memory to one's favorite charity.
