1797 - JOHN JONES AND MARY HIS WIFE of Mason County to THOMAS CLAWSON of Mason County, sale of land in Mason County by ROBERTS and JACKMANS lands. [Mason Co., KY DB E p 29].
Fleming Co., KY, April Court 1819: Mary Jones widow of John Jones Deceased having relinquished her right of Administration on the estate of said John Jones Deceased and on motion of John Jones & Thomas Jones who made oath together with Isaac Wilson & Daniel Wilson approved of as their security entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of One thousand Dollars administration of said estate is granted then in due form of law.
Ordered that John D. Bell, James Hood, Wm. Tibbs? and James Young or any three of them being first sworn appraise in currant money the personal estate (& slaves if any) of John Jones Dec'd and make report thereof to the next Court.
