    Will of John Jenkins.

    In the name of God Amen, this the tenth day of February one thousand and seven hundred and ninety-three, I John Jenkins, of Fayette County, German Township, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being very weak and sick in body, but of perfect mind and memory therefore calling to mind the mortallity of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say ______and first of all, I justly committ my soul unto the hands of almighty God that give it and my body I recomend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give devise and bequeath all my worldly estate real and personal to my blessed wife Elizabeth during her natural life and at her death I give and bequeath to my son Phillip Jenkins his heirs and assigns all my whole estate real and personal by him or them freely to be possessed and enjoyed. He the said Phillip Jenkins executor and administrator paying unto my five daughters Margaret, Esther, Sarah, Mary and Hannah each of them the sum of twenty pounds and likewise that the said Phillip Jenkins do five and pay to John Dotson son of my daughter Sarah the whole crop which shall be in the ground on my place at the death of my said wife and give him the horse plough ______ one bed, one blanket or coverlet, bolster pillow and sheet the walnut table and bigest iron pot ____ ____ and the frying pan and that the said Phillip Jenkins give to Sarah B______ and Elizabeth Davis daughters of my son-in-law Philip Davis my black heifer that has a white face & that the said Phillip give to Sarah B______ _____ Margaret Daughter in law two calves, and I hereby constitute and appoint my son, Phillip and my son-in-law Philip Davis to be my Executors of this my last will and testament and I hereby disallow and revoke disannull all and any other former Testament with Legacies and bequests and executors by me.

    ________________ ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this day and year above written.

    Signed and Sealed and published announced declared by the said John Jenkins his last will and Testament in presence of the Subscribed _________ which shall be notified before signed.
