WILL OF JOHN HUFFMAN: written on 6 March 1824 & proved & recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Cir Ct of Giles County, VA.
August Court 1834 contains the following provisions: "negros to be sold by my executors, immediatly after my decease and the money arising from such sale to be equally divided among my daughters, Catherine Damswood, Sophia Rowe, Barbara Roe, Faney Helvy (Hevely) , Mary Bosters, except $10.00 to be give over and above to my daughter, Mary Boster, to be freely enjoyed by them forever."
