    John Hubbell, s/o Richard Hubbell and first wife Elizabeth Meigs, b. abt. 1652 [p. 300: father took oath in New Haven 7 Mar 1647/8, admitted Guilford 25 Feb 1653/4 (so apparently born in New Haven)], was Lt. in Albany expedition of 1690, "there lost his life". Inventory 13 Oct 1690; widow Patience; children Margery 9, Richard 6, Josiah 2. Josiah Nichols and Samuel Hubbell Sr. administrators.
