He willed more than 3000 acres of land including lands on Brushy Fork of Sandy River and on Jaggers Creek ... he also had two score slaves ... all the estate to his grandchildren and to each several slaves and to each 300 acres of land.

Zachariah Roberts was married to Mary Hitchcock, the daughter of John Hitchcock. Source – Will of John Hitchcock 1/23/1785 - Chester County Deed 2/2/1754 – Chester County Indenture of Lease and Release 1/6/1789. From the Chester County Deed Book “T” we know that they had at least two children, a son Edward and a Daughter Sally, who married Robert Jones.
