Will of "John Hinds of Brookfield ... Yeoman", dated 10 May 1745, proved 5 Nov 1747, names wife Anna; sons John and Seth; daughter Anna; daughters Francis and Mary; daughters Dinah, Triphena and Susanna [these unmarried]; Corliss my youngest son. Wife Anna and son Corliss to be executors. 16 Nov 1747: Citation to appear read to John and Seth Hinds Samuel and Anna Ware Seth and francies Banister Joseph and Mary Banister Edw'd and Triphana Wright & Dinah and Susanna Hinds Single women and to Anna Hinds widow being Heirs at Law to ye Estate of s'd John Hinds Late of Brookfield. 7 May 1748: Receipt of Joseph Banister Jun'r & Mary his Wife given to our Brother Corliss Hinds for bequeast in will of our Father John Hinds Dec'd. Also for Seth Banister and Francis his Wife, for Samuel Ware & Anna his Wife. 12 May 1748: Warrant to appraise estate of John Hinds late of Brookfield. Return sworn to 18 Aug 1748: £4552:01:00, by Josiah Converse, Thomas Buckminster, William Ayers. 16 Jun 1748: Dower set off to Mrs Anna Hinds widow of ye Dece'd one third.
