John Henry by his will dated 24 Dec. 1779 bequeathed the tract to his brothers Joseph Henry and William Henry, Junr, to be equally divided between them. This William Henry's death, therefore, occurred between 1768 and 1773. John Henry of Lincoln County, N. C., left a will dated 24 Dec. 1779, codicil added 15 Oct. 1780, naming his brothers Joseph, William, and Moses, also mentioning his mother, brothers, and sisters, including a sister Rebeckah. John Robinson was appointed executor, and David Miller and Ruth (X) Miller were witnesses.[29]
