Jesse Hellings's son John A. Hellings died before Jesse (according to Jesse's will). There is a John A. Hellings in 1830 in Bensalem, and then a John A. Hellings in Nottingham Twp., NJ in 1840, and the ages seem to match with the age of Jesse's son. In 1850, Samuel J. Hellings is in Nottingham Twp. He is 23, with a family, and also has an Elizabeth (45), Ann E. (13?), and Louisa M. (22) living with him. Also, Samuel later has a son named John A. Hellings. So it seems likely that the Samuel is the son of John A. Hellings. Elizabeth is the right age to be John A.'s wife. Maybe Louisa and Ann are their other children.
