Facts and Events
What follows is from Eugene W. Harper in January 2005:
"As to my grandparents, John Willis Harper and Emma Parks Harper. A tornado came through from Abbeville, South Carolina, Calhoun Falls, and across hart County and into Royston, killing around 20 people and my grandmother was killed outright in the tornado which destroyed the home. My grandfather, John Willis Harper, lingered on and finally died at a hospital in Commerce, Georgia."
