John2 Goold b about 1672 prob in Hull son of Robert1 Goold and Elizabeth Bosworth died there in 16 Nov 1672 and is buried in Hull Cemetery. m/1 Lydia Jacob m/2 Mary the widow of James Gardner. The author notes that the burial monument (also used as a source for vital records shows that his mother was Elizabeth Bosworth when in fact she was Mehitable Bosworth.

  4. Place of death.

Hull vital records above are merely a record of the place of his burial monument in his ancestral home of Hull which is in the same cemetery as his father. But no actual record of his death there has been found. However, his second wife May (Thomas) Goold died and is buried in Weymouth. In his probate records he calls himself John Goold of Weymounth in the county of Suffolk. So chances are high he actually died in Weymouth not in Hull.
