    1) Calvin was the youngest son of John Goodell; and...
    2) Calvin came to Sangamon Co., IL along with his father and brothers, Nathan, Warner and John. Since Calvin was the first child of John & "second" wife, Chloe, it would seem that John had a first wife by whom he had a son Warner, the maiden name of John's "first" wife, Mary.

    Franklin Goodell makes no mention of a first wife, by the way. I've about exhausted the sources I can access for free. Any suggestions are welcome in order to solidify my theory.
