"Johann Friedrich Gerlicher was born to Anna Dorothea and Johann George January 2, 1835 by the family records at Stoppach and on the 5th January at Untersiemau by the records of the Evangelical Lutheran Church." It is not clear from context what Johann George's last name was, or if they were married.
John died on the return trip after visiting his extended family in Germany in 1894-1895.
