Her parents were John Furrow born in 1772, Virginia, died May 1848 in Clark County, Ohio. Married May 17, 1798 Montgomery, Virginia to Mary Simpkins, born 1776 in New York, died before 1840 in Clark County Ohio. Her ancestors lived in New Jersey.
They probably came from England or Wales about 1650. John's father was also named
John, died 1834 in Montgomery County, Virginia. (Jacob Furrow came to America from
Holland when he was 7 years old, probably 1750)
