  2. The identification of this John as the wife of Jane Teel is based on the process of elimination, combined with the use of Dolly as the name of a daughter. The only other John Francis of Medford, the son of Ebenezer, b. 1753, moved to Beverly where he married twice, in 1772, and 1780, and d. 1822, the reported age at death in Beverly calculating exactly to his birth in Medford. This rules him out as the husband of Jane.
