OBITUARY 

                                            John J. Flynn, Sr.

    John J. Flynn Sr.,66 of 11 Elaine Terrace, Camillus, died Wednesday at Community General Hospital.
    He was born in Auburn and lived in the Syracuse area for 35 year. He was an Army veteran of the Korean war.
    Mr. Flynn was a former sheet metal worker for Sheet Metal Workers Local 58 in Syracuse and retired in 1991 from Local 46 in Rochester.
    He was a communicant of Holy Family Church, Fairmount. His brother Edward died in 1927.
    Surviving are his wife, Catherine; three sons: John J. Jr. of Albany, Edward F. of Syracuse and David W. of Boston; a brother Robert of Syracuse; a sister, Eileen Hughes of Auburn; one grandaughter and several nieces and nephews.
    Services are 9:00am Saturday at Whelan Bros. Funeral Home and 9:30am at Holy Family Church. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Warners. Calling hours are 4 to 8pm today at the funeral home, 3700 W. Genesee St. Fairmount. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7145 Henry Clay Blvd. Liverpool 13088.
