FARR, SR., a native of England, came to Tioga county, Pennsylvania, about 1800, and finally settled on a farm in Sullivan township. He was a soldier in the War of 1812. His wife, Lydia, was a native of Germany, and bore him the following children, viz: John B., William, Jacob, Josiah, Seely, a resident of Chemung county, New York; Czar, a resident of Jackson township; Polly, Lucy, Betsey and Lydia. Mr. Farr and wife died at the age of ninety-four and eighty-six years, respectively. References
