Disambiguation

NOT to be confused with John Edmiston (abt. 1765-bef. 1825), son of William Edmiston and Agnes Holmes, who married Mary Buchanan (1769-1832) abt. 1790, likely in Virginia. Some researchers have confused the two John Edmiston's that both married women named Mary Buchanan.
