Information from “Virginia/West Virginia Genealogical Data from Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Records”, Vol. 2, compiled by Patrick G. Wardell, Lt. Col. U.S. Army Ret. :

Edge, John - entered service 1776 in Frederick County, Virginia; granted Pension 1818 in Belmont County, Ohio; resided there in 1820 age 67 when family and wife Nancy age 64, grandson John Edge age 13, & grandson Thomas Wey age 4-5, all living on land of soldier's son-in-law; died 7/4/1830; married 1/6/1781 to Nancy Cummings, Fauquier County, Virginia; widow granted Pension age 84 in Belmont County, Ohio, 1844; living children's births: Molly/Moly 11/7/1781, Rosanah 9/1/1783, Levice 9/5/1787, & Lettice 11/11/1791; all children living in 1844, when affidavit made by daughter Rosanah Dunfee; widow resided age 99 in Monroe County, Ohio, 1855.
