Ancestry

This is not the same man as the one who married Susanna Paddock and Deliverance Owen. That man lived in Taunton. The main proof this John is the son of Samuel is an agreement between Samuel’s sons, and John of Tisbury’s subsequent sale of the land he received; and the fact that Samuel apprenticed his son to a blacksmith, and the John Eddy of Tisbury came there as a blacksmith from Plymouth.
