Because the Spotsylvania Co., Va., records have been published, many persons have assumed that Catharine Goodloe married John Durrett of that county; his record, however, shows that his wife was Mary, both before and after 25 Nov. 1748, the date of the will of Henry Goodloe in which he speaks of his daughter Catharine, wife of John Durrett.'
