Facts and Events
He was not an original proprietor of Barnstable, as he bought land of Thomas Bowman, Jr., who moved to Falmouth, Feb. 18, 1685. Three acres of land were laid out to him. On April 10, 1689 thirty acres, which had been granted to him several years previous, was laid out to him at Oysterhead River. He was first a member of the church at Plymouth, afterward at Barnstable. In 1692 he was a deputy to the General Court. [edit] References
