John O'Neal Dull

John O'Neal Dull, 84, of Fostoria, died at 3:20 A.M, Friday, June 13, 20 03 at his residence. Born Dec. 20, 1918 in Liberty Twp Seneca Co OH to Jo hn Henry and Mary Eva (Briggs) Dull, he married Wanda Marguerite Cla rk on Oct. 23, 1960 in Fostoria, and she survives.

Also surviving are: six daughters, Jean Winter, Little Rock, Ark, Marcia J ohnston , Detroit MI, Judy Reiter, Tiffin, Rosemary Dull, Tiffin, Debor ah Johnson, Tiffin, and Dena Strait, Green Springs; two sons, John Joe Dul l, Fostoria, and Breck O Dull, Mildenhall AFB, Eng; two step sons, Den nis and Mark Hall, both of Fostoria; 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchild ren, 6 great great grandchildren; and one sister, Dahlia Belle Borer, Po rt CharlotteFL. He was preceded in death by: his parents, six brothers a nd three sisters.

Mr. Dull retired in 1984 from Fostoria Community Schools where he was a Vo cational Auto Mechanics Teacher. He also operated Johnny's Mobil Service f rom 1960-65 and was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He w as an active member of High St United Methodist Church, Fostoria, servi ng as Administrative Board Chair, Lay Leader, Liturgist, and Usher. Mr. Du ll was a member of the American Federation of Musicians and the Lamplighte rs Dance Board; he was a member and Past President of the Fostoria Lions C lub; member and Past Master of Fostoria Lodge #288 F&AM; member of Tole do Consistory, 32nd Degree Mason; member of Zenobia Shrine, Toledo and t he Zenobia Jeepsters; he was a former member of the Fostoria Vanguards; a nd former member and Past President of the Fostoria Shrine Club.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M, Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at Mann -Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. The United Veterans of Fostoria will condu ct military rites immediately following services. Interment Fountain Cemet ery, Fostoria. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M at the funer al home where Masonic Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 P.M
