JOHN DUCKETT, SENIOR lived in Laurens County, South Carolina. He later moved to Warren County, Kentucky.

January 2, 1804 John Duckett bought from John Tygert, 125 acres on Duncan's Creek. [Newberry County Deed Book G. Page 71]

January 26, 1808 John Duckett sold to William Epps and Daniel Epps, 125 acres on Duncan's Creek. Charity Duckett released her dower. [Newberry County Deed Book I, Page 396]

John moved to Kentucky with his family about 1808.
