Jack David “John” Dixon, Sr. age 88, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 at 2:30 a.m. at the Proctor Endowment Home in Peoria.
He was born on April 22, 1928 Peoria to Ross and Stella Dixon. He married Betty Jean Dobbins on Oct. 5, 1952 in Peoria. She passed away July 13, 2015 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers: Robert “Bob” Dixon and Donald Dixon.
Surviving are two children: Debra Jean (Bill) Reardon of East Peoria, John David (Holly) Dixon of Germantown Hills, three grandchildren: Steve (Sarah) Reardon of Sunnyland, John Ross “J.R.” Dixon, Josh David Dixon, both of Germantown Hills, and two great-grandsons: Cooper Brock Reardon and Cruz David Reardon, both of Sunnyland.
Robert, Donald, and Jack were the third generation Partners in the family business …
