Looking for information on John DARR II who married Mary FRANKLIN in
Botetourt Co. VA around 1800. Mary was the daughter of Nathan FRANKLIN and
according to family tradition, the neice of Benjamin FRANKLIN.
John & Mary's son, also named John moved to Jefferson Co. Tennessee where he
married Ellen DICK, daughter of Henry DICK.
John & Ellen's son was James Henry DARR, a civil war veteran, who died in
Bradley Co. TN in 1909.
Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.
