- Lived in New London Twp in Chester County from 1758 to about 1764 when he moved to North Carolina and settled in a part of owan County NC which fell into Guilfod County in 1770 then later fell into Rockingham County in 1785. In 1782 he was granted 640 acres on both sides of the Haw River. At the time of his death, 819 acres of land was divided among his heirs. Most likely buried in the Haw River Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
