Crumrine, 54, who died Saturday at the Colbert County hospital, were held yesterday at 4:30 p.m. from the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John Hungarland officiating. Burial followed at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Crumrine lived in Huntsville for many years, working at McClellan’s store. He later moved to Sheffield where he was also associated with the chain store. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Marie Chastine Crumrine; one daughter, Mrs. Max McBrayer of Marietta, Ga.; three brothers, L. H. Crumrine of Huntsville, L. W. Crumrine of Hazel Green, and O. R. Crumrine of New Market. Active pallbearers were S. H. Williams, Frank B. Suber, Hunter Hardy Jr., William L. Askew, Lewis Timberlake and William L. Poe. Honorary pallbearers were Col. L. E. Wilson, W. M. A. Reeves Jr., Sam Frey, George Inglewright, Dr. James W. Caden, Dr. W. H. Blake, Everett Freeman, Phillip Brocato, members of the Sheffield Kiwanis Club and the Muscle Shoals Chamber of Commerce.
