JOHN W. CRUMRINE, practically a life-long resident of Fredericktown, for many years engaged in the business of building contractor, died in his home Thursday, August 9, 1928, at 6:20 a.m., after a short illness of pneumonia. He was aged 51 years.
A son of Daniel and Rebecca Crouch Crumrine, Mr. Crumrine was born in Bristow, Iowa, but came to Fredericktown in his early years and had since resided there, his father being one of the pioneer residents of Fredericktown.
Besides his wife, Catherin Hickman Crumrine, Mr. Crumrine leaves two daughters, Mrs. Harold Eastman of Fredericktown; Mrs. L. E. Hileman of Washington, and a son, John Crumrine, Jr., at home. Four brothers and a sister also survive, James and Harvey Crumrine, of Fredericktown; George Crumrine, of Morgantown, W. VA., Albert Crumrine of Crosscreek, and Mrs. George Zimmerman, of Waynesburg.
Funeral services will be held in the Crumrine home Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Beallsville Cemetery.
