John Crumrine, age 66, of Akron, Ohio, went to Heaven in the early morning hours on January 23, 2022 due to Covid. He was born on September 6, 1955 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Leona (Scheatzle) Crumrine. John owned and operated Automotive Electric in Akron. He treated everyone the same; whether you were from a business or a walk in customer, he helped everyone. John drove asphalt circle track race cars for many years for many different owners. He traveled to other states to race but his home track was Barberton Speedway. John helped everyone, even his competitors. You'd often find John under someone's hood adjusting their carburetor. John's favorite place to visit was New Smyrna beach. He enjoyed the sun and sand; but especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Preceded in death by parents; brother Frank Crumrine; in laws Bill Stout and Wilma Walton; brother in law Tom Stout and half sister Lynne Crumrine. Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, the former Rita Stout; his daughters, Julie and Jessica Crumrine; and his two pride and joys, his grandchildren, Jaz and Declan. He is also survived by his sister Carol (Burke) Horoschak; step mother Connie Hoover; half sister Pat (Shan) Standingdeer; brother in law Dean Stout; sister in law Stephanie (Dick) Tracy; nieces and nephews LeeAnn (Bob) Coffman and girls, John Horoschak Jr., Byron (Melissa) Stout and children, Lisa (Jim) White and Faith, Tom Stout and Eli, Jeff (Jenn) Stout and children; all the guys at the shop Zak, Cooper, Jerry, Ron, Bob Mangina and Huey; many other loving nieces and nephews and loving family and friends.
