Buried at Melbourne General Cemetery. Inscription on grave reads. In loving memory of My dear husband John William Cousins Late A.I.F. Died 22nd Sept 1944 Aged 61 years. Mary Anne is also buried in the same grave. John received mustard gas poisoning in the 1st World War but refused ongoing medical checkups due his digust with the authorities.
