    John Coleman of Spotsylvania, father of Hawes Coleman, Sr. died 2-15-1763. My father died at 40 years of age.
    My mother, Nice Hawes, afterwards Nice Coleman, lived after the death of my father until about 1804 and was 84 years of age at her death, having lived 44 years a widow.
