    "20. John4 Clark (John,3 Thomas,2 George1), baptized at Milford, Conn., Sept. 8, 1700, died there (by August), 1771; … He was called 'Jr.' in the record of the births of his children. His will, dated Apr. 4, 1763, proved in August, 1771, and signed 'John Clark, Jr.,' mentions his wife 'Rebeckah,' daughters 'Rebeccah' Johnson, Hannah Tolles, and Sarah Clark, and sons John and Benjamin; his wife to have his lands in Farmington and in New Milford [N. H. P. 11:180]."
