    [Note: A marriage about 1697 (suggested by birth of a child 1698) would imply a birth about 1676 to be of legal age. In view of his parents marriage in 1677, a birth in late 1677 or early 1678 seems more probably than the estimate her of 1680 which has no explanation. Further note: The basis for the death before 1710 is not known. The birth of a daughter 10 May 1711 is recorded in Hampton VRs, so no earlier than August of 1710. Certainly the probate items cited below show he died by 1727.]
