DEATH: From obituary: Died at age 83 in a Salt Lake City Hospital. Grad. Agricultural Coll. of Utah, 1924 in Agric. Engineering. School teacher for 33 years at Kanab High Sch. Past principal - Kanab H.S. Past pres., Region 8 School Adm. Assoc., Kane Co. Teachers Assoc. and Sons of Utah Pioneers. Awarded Freedom Found. Natl. Award, 1960. On Kanab City Council. Active member of L.D.S. Church. TIB & Temple Endow. film give bapt. as 30 May 1908 but Burgoyne book and ward records give it as 1 Jul 1908. PRIESTHOOD: Blessed: 3 June 1900 by W.W. Clark. Bapt by Charles R. Pearce. Conf. by E.L. Burgoyne. Deacon: 5 Apr 1914.
