An 1820 Settler who came to South Africa together with his wife, Ann, and 2 daughters as part of the Clark Party. He apparently had business interests in Jamaica. On arrival in the Eastern Cape he dumped Ann and took up with Charlotte Whitfield. He died in action during the 1835 Xhosa War.
