    John Browder was the third child of Isham and Rachel (Slaydon) Browder. John, married Nancy Allin 8 Oct 1814. John and Nancy Browder had seven children, the oldest of which, Charles Isham, is Benjamin Carroll's grandfather. I have little information about John and Nancy. He was a farmer in Hopkins County KY. John is said to have traveled to Wise County TX and returned to KY on horseback when he was 80 years old. John is buried in Fulton County in Palestine Cemetery. He died there while visiting his brothers, David and Augustine, in 1875. Nancy is buried in Browder Family Cemetery north of Madisonville in Hopkins County KY.
