Residences: Hampshire Co., Virginia (later Hardy Co., then Grant Co., West Virginia) Owned 230 acres on Patterson Creek, Hardy Co., Virginia. John took younger males to White Women, Coshocton Co., Ohio in 1807 and then Highland Twp., Muskingum, Ohio in 1813 where four older sons had already settled. 1820 in Highland Twp., Muskingum, Ohio.
