He was sitting in thefront seat passanger side holding his sons', Don, adopted daughter.His wife Floine (Aunt Flo) and daughter-in-law and other adopteddaughter were sitting in the back seat. They were driving down a steaphill near Lake Tannycomo in Branson when the other vehicle met themhead on tring to pass another truck. Uncle John saw the dangerapproaching and tried to hold his grandaughter in the seat. Theyrushed him to the hospital in Springfield in the mean time the otherswere treated for their minor wounds and they notified my dad, his twinbrother. It was a 4 hourdrive from Independence to get there. Dadentered the room and stood beside his brother and watched as he passedaway.
