    Unnamed wife - a farm bequeathed to the mother of my children by her father Joshua Babcock Esq. of Westerly.
    Sons: Peter & Luke.
    Daughters: Ann Hazard wife of Charles Hazard, Frances Loring widow & Elizabeth Richmond wife of Perez O. Richmond youngest.
    Grandchildren: Jared Star Hazard, Charles Courtland Hazard, John Bours Hazard, Abigail Hazard, Caroline Hazard & Ann Hazard all the children of Charles & Ann Hazard, of New London, Conn; John Bours Loring & Horatio Nelson Loring both under 21 son of my daughter Frances Loring widow; Ann Richmond & Mary Richmond daughters of my daughter Elizabeth Richmond wife of Perez O. Richmond.
    1st codicil gives to Capt. Jared Starr of New London in trust to maintain the children: John B., Caroline & Ann Hazard now in the care of their Aunt Nancy Hazard.
    2nd codicil says Peter and Luke live far away.
